Are you a rice lover?
If you want to lose weight, the most common advice you tend to hear is to ditch rice totally because eating RICE CAN MAKE YOU FAT! Is rice really the culprit? Does rice really deserve the bad rap it has been getting?
Personally, I used to be “afraid” of rice, but after getting to know better its benefits and purpose, now, I eat rice every single day. And if you have seen my transformation, rice has helped with my energy level, improved my workouts and even reduce my body fat.
I’m sure you’re watching this video and wonder how can I include rice into my diet and lose weight. If you are a rice lover and don’t want to give up on rice while losing weight, watch this video and learn how you can do it!

I’m Nigerian, rice is literally a staple part of my diet. There’s no way I can divorce carbs! 😭
In Bangladesh, we eat rice at least three times everyday!
@Nirob Limon hahahaha this is so true, i work for a Bangladesh guy fast food literacy breakfast was fried egg and bread, the rest of the day is literally chicken curry, chicken cut in small pieces. Night fish curry
@Emmanuel Kevin yeah, we eat rice along with fish or meat or vegetables. But rice is a must. Sometimes people enjoy rice with green or red chillies only. So hot!!

As an Indonesian, rice is also my staple food. I still eat (white) rice for my daily meals and still lose weight. Agree with Joanna, portion and balance meal are the key! 😊 I lost 20 kilos in the past one year, with portion control, balanced meal, and Joanna’s workouts. So, don’t be afraid of rice and carbs 😁

I have consumed white rice all my life and i did gain weight. That was due to lack of exercise. I started working out and I lost 13 pounds in 3 months. The weight loss was slower due to a thyroid problem , but I still lost weight.
I’m from Bangladesh, Our main meal always include Rice, I love rice also, I lost 12kg with consume little amount of rice
In India we make a lot of dishes from white rice , semi brownrice and sometimes brownrice.
but YES , we use ghee in making biryani, or fermented foods from rice ( like dosa , idli , appam)
so i AGREE tat white rice is not our enemy here ( coz i love rice )
1. Portion control/ increase activity level
2. Pair it with veggies and protein
3. Keep it as it is – no oil,
4. Consume only after exercise

I am a Filipino and I eat rice everyday here in Spain, I boil the rice with spoonful of olive oil and garlic.
Who are these ignorant people who think rice makes you fat? 😆
