  • Angela W. says:

I fast 16 hours a day and I must say it works! I eat right and exercise.

    • cats are cute says:

@Angela W. how many pounds did you lose ? Did it work ?

    • DowntownLAKid says:

cats are cute not her but I’m currently doing it. I’ve lost 6.2 pounds in a month, but I’ve also gained 2.3 pounds of muscle in that same month. I haven’t changed anything else in my training… same training

And yeah it broke my plateau and has made it EXTREMELY easy to count calories. When it’s one – two meals a day, it’s so much easier to count.

And I really only count to see how much protein, carbs, & fat I’m eating

But I’ve only recently been counting, like 2 days.

      So I recommend it

It’s dope, I love eating trash meals and KNOWING it’s in my caloric limit for the day.

  • Ericochico says:

man OZ is clueless. like most doctors he knows nothing about diet and nutrition.

    • jomsart says:

Dr oz is just being cautionary. In the video, you see him explaining and trying to figure out how it works. Like all people in the field of science should do.

    • Nissan U. -SUBW00FER- says:

@Vindelextreme 2.0 Set point is the bogus pseudo-scientific idea that every individual has a “natural set point weight” and that the body will change metabolism to achieve it.
It’s bullshit. Everyone has an amount of food that they comfortably eat per day. Your weight is decided by how much you eat and how much you exercise and your body composition (fat vs muscle).

    • Nissan U. -SUBW00FER- says:

@Ed Edd and Ed-E he doesn’t even look fat lol. That’s like calling body builders fat for being huge.

    • Amy-Lee Angel says:

Wow. Aren’t you guys a bunch of mean cocksuckers. I agree, EricoChico. Most doctors just want you sick so you can keep going back to them. More money in their pockets and more houses, cars, and vacations they will have.

  • Ibrahim Zamil says:

Food companies and big restaurants chains need you to eat multiple meals to buy more and pay more for food

    • Brooklyn Born says:

@derp doge Did you even read the comment I replied to? Intermittent fasting would only hinder food companies if you ate less food, how often you eat is irrelevant. Don’t mention me again.

    • derp doge says:

@Brooklyn Born If you change the period of time you’re eating, you’re not going to be buying as much food from different restaurants. Especially not if you’re eating at midnight. Fast food restaurants would lose a lot of customers because of the time restriction and because people become more mindful of their eating. Fast food are for people who are hungry all the time and need something quick during the day. That’s not a problem when you’re doing intermittent fasting.

    • lucaboden says:

I think food companies and big restaurants love binge eaters.

    • Dan Trebune says:

@Willem Chastity Do you have any proof for these claims? Because theres a mountain of evidence that contradicts you.

  • The808Demon says:

A lot of people like to say this guy doesn’t know what he’s talking about, but I’m here to say he sure as hell does. I’m 15 years old and struggled with obesity for the past couple years. I made the decision I wasn’t going to go into high school being as large as I was, I had almost 0 muscle mass as well. I just wanted to be able to eat whatever i wanted because that’s the hardest part, At my heaviest i was 197 pounds. I started off just eating very small meals and the weight was coming off so slowly it was frustrating and i felt like I was deprived of food 3 months in I was only down to 179 pounds sure that may sound like a lot but it was to slow for me, So to make the weight come off faster i started intermittent fasting and exercising like crazy burning about 3000 calories a day and it felt so great to be able to sit down at the end of the day and eating meals as big as 2000 calories and I’ve gotten benefits from fasting as well I have more energy than I’ve ever had in my entire life and I never feel hungry, And for my favorite part, my weight i’m down to 127 pounds and I’ve never felt better.
    Total weight lost: 70 pounds

  • AuAg StacKING says:

I lost 60 lbs doing this over the course of a year – never felt better.

  • Carrie Nielsen says:

One meal a day works!!!! It is amazing! And you feel so much better. It takes a few days to adjust. Stick with it and it is awesome.

  • James R says:

Imagine all those CRAZY dietitians for years were telling people to eat small meals every 3 hours. That is as bad as the med community saying that margarine was fine and should replace butter.

  • Ami Khan says:

Muslims do this all the time during Ramadan 😂😂😂

  • contingent exe says:

“Biologically we were meant to feast and fast.”

    That’s true

    • Thomas Jefferson says:

Meat eating mammals do so in intermittent fasting. Think of a lion. He isn’t constantly snacking. No he goes a day or two without food while hunting.

Mammals that snack all the time are not plant eaters
