God didn’t promise the days without pain
Laughter without sorrow
Sunshine without rain
But he did promise for the day and light for the way
Great lady and loved her dad
My son lost his battle because the chemo killed him. The treatment is often worse than the disease.
His tumor was gone, but they kept pumping him full of that poison to kill any residue, meanwhile, it
wrecked his immune system–he was doomed after that. It’s a horrible thing for anyone to go through,
but it’s especially heart-breaking to watch a child suffer. In one last attempt to communicate with me,
my son wrote, “I can’t take……..” What was he trying to tell me? I watched him for 3 weeks after that
as he lay in a coma deteriorating. 12 machines pumped medicine into his frail body trying to kept him
alive but it was hopeless as the infection shutdown his organs one at a time.
Be careful how you give to St. Jude. Research the best option to donate because if you donate through
the info they give on tv, a huge percentage of the donation goes to a third party for ‘processing’. I never
knew about those stores Marla mentioned–I will def check them out to see how much goes to St. Jude.
God Bless St. Jude & all those children and their families that they help, & God Bless ‘That Girl’, that was
one of my favorite shows as a young girl!!
Chemo and radiation are extremely toxic, it burns the skins. I would never take it ! My mom’s husband has had bone cancer since 2007 and he refused those deadly treatments and he is still alive. He has been on pain meds for over a decade. Sometimes cancer goes away on it’s own when giving the body an opportunity to heal itself ! I believe Farrah Fawcett would have survived if she hadn’t have kept pumping those deadly chemicals into her body
@SUGAR XYLER !!! Yes, & it’s awful how they treat parents. If you refuse treatment, the
courts take over & every case I’ve heard about, the parents lose. My son died 9 months
after starting treatment and they insist he would have died sooner if he didn’t have them
due to his symptoms but I just don’t know. If refusal meant they would have taken him
from me and treated him anyway, it was still worth it to be with him during that horrible
time. It required around the clock care at home & I would not have wanted anyone else
doing that, who didn’t love him as I did. Glad your step-dad is hanging in there. Yes, my
hubby’s grandma had stomach or colon cancer before they used radiation & she lived
to be 90+ and eventually died of old age! They stopped using those GOOD forms of
treatment for sinister reasons, imo.
Everyone of the people that I have known to take chemo have died and yes the treatment is worse than the disease.
I am so sorry for your loss. 💕
@Emma Layla Thank you. -Hugs
