  • Michael O says:

i think this case is not police fault. he died days after this probably on drug overdose. If he was white no one will even talk about this incident.

    • Michael O says:

NKOSI STRAIN BULLIES its not the police fault that he went naked in public and entoxicated. The drugs did not went to his system accidentally.

    • Michael O says:

NKOSI STRAIN BULLIES everyone want to police to reform. But no one wants to reform themselves. If you want less police then you need to have less crimes or this incidents in your community.

    • Stacey imurgift Rice says:

@Michael O police do need reform the fbi said this years ago. But go ahead and disregard they the fbi has already reported. Hey this is america. No need to go on with your overly used taking points. I’m not trynna go back and forth I have this empty circular conversation many times, and it tiring. It’s like groundhogs day halls points never change your approach is the same. You disregard info, misuse statistics, and the emotionally filled suleriorty complex rhetoric.

  • ShareThisFastDOTcom says:

Is anyone buying this acted out hoax either?

  • Susan Spencer says:

I think the proper punishment would be to give each one of the Cops a Spit hood & do to them what they did to the black man. Im serious. I’m pissed at these so called aka police officers!!! They arent real Police Officers until they treat people with The Love of Jesus and I mean that!!! If I ever get wealthy I will never donate any money to any police dept.

  • Keith Cindy Panama says:

    What is excited delirium??

  • Stacey imurgift Rice says:

Not only did they put the spithood on but it looked like they were twisting ir really tight. I know his brother feels like it’s his fault but he thought he was doing the right thing by doing a 5150. Which is called The Bakers Act.

  • Rosie Pena says:

Nobody’s talking about the elephant in the room which is the acute PCP intoxication of Daniel Prude. That makes people crazy! I’m sure that if his brother knew that’s what it was that was making his brother act irrational and crazy, he would not have called the cops. Dr. Oz should have talked about that. It is a real thing, drugs and alcohol intoxication can make people act crazy. His brother said he had never seen him act that way before. Maybe he had never tried PCP before and he was reacting to having too much. Even withdrawing from drugs can make people crazy. I’ve seen people withdraw from heroin and that makes people crazy and delusional as well. Even drinking too much can make people delusional. But yes his brother is right, cops should not be the only people we can call if someone is having a mental emergency.

    • Arthur Hogan says:

He did say, he’d called 911 earlier. His brother was treated, or observed, what ever. And he called 911 the second time expecting the same response, not the arrival of police in uniform. This not the first time cops have behaved this way with a mentally ( alleged) distressed person. The results were similar, an unarmed person being shot to death. Lots of these officers are just plain lazy; probably sitting around chatting amongst themselves, get a call, see it’s a black guy or woman and the usual takes place in their minds. For them, it becomes a Video game. Only difference? Some black person ends up dead. Ari Melber on ” The Beat ” posted pictures of 80 different deaths of African Americans since Colin Kaepernick took a knee in 2016. Just the other day, it was reported that there have been 164 black people killed by police from Januaru through July this very year, 2020. What does that tell us.

    • Rosie Pena says:

@Arthur Hogan yes I agree with you but his brother had called the cops earlier and they had taken him into the hospital for a mental evaluation, but was released. He was expecting the same result later and of course it didn’t happen with different cops. Maybe Daniel took more drugs after he was released from the hospital? It really doesn’t matter. We need people who are better able to deal with mental health issues other than the cops is the point. I’ve seen 911 called on people who are having mental health issues and either the cops or firemen come but of course since they were white, nothing bad happens to them. They get taken into the hospital for a mental evaluation. The point is that there needs to be better training for cops dealing with people who are having mental health issues either due to drugs, alcohol or whatever. Or we need a special task force which is part of 911 just for people who are having mental health issues. But drugs and alcohol can make people act crazy and delusional. People need to understand that.

I believe in that messy situation people may get confused about what really happened, but I have question here is there a problem related to the training of the police officers or it’s related to the law applied leading to that mispractice !

  • Polar Bear says:

If everyone hates cops just use robots then

  • Shasha8674 says:

I can’t watch. Power goes to people’s heads. After awhile police may be numb to pain of others. Very sad!

  • Rosie Pena says:

Excited delirium is actually a real thing. I still think the cops caused his death by restricting his oxygen flow but it is a real thing caused by drug use, especially by drugs like PCP. The lawyer is wrong to say that it’s not a real thing. The cops are still at fault cuz they should have just got him to the hospital as soon as possible so the hospital could have stabilized him quickly when they figured out what drugs were in his system that were causing the mania.

  • Arthur Hogan says:

@July Amin: The truth is, its possibly both: but with the most obvious answer, that being, racism. One way to exact defunding of police departments across the country? Have the FBI infiltrate these guy’s private computer searchings; find out what sites they are visiting on a frequent basis: Especially the ones with questionable past offenses on their records. The Software is there for this and if an officer is suspended? All the more of an opportunity to invade his or her privacy, lawfully. I’d be willing to bet honest money that some of these guys are visiting white supremacy sites regularly.

  • Arthur Hogan says:

@Rosie Pena: Exactly, and technically we’re saying the same thing, you and I. The only difference is, I didn’t know the first 911 call brought the cops. Apparently different group of officers. And, the first time, Prude was not naked?? These other guys didn’t even want to touch him.
